Storytelling
Winter is the time for telling stories. Traditional stories, as well as made-up stories, often use animal characters to help tell the moral of a story and tell the history of our people. In the past, they were told over four nights. This is the story about "Kakaicu Je'e, her Mamaḍ and Ban."
"The moral of the story is for children to listen to their je’e and o’g and stay close to your parents when you are away from home. Also, when you are at school you are to be safe." --- Ms. Patsy
