Arrive on time at 7:30 a.m. to ensure your child experiences all that school has to offer!
Morning drop off times are from 7-9 a.m. Excuses accepted for drop offs after 9 a.m. include documentation of medical, WIC, court, or social services appointments.
NEW! The latest pickup time for students who attend during instructional hours is 2 p.m. (child care services before and after school are available; talk to your Family Advocate for more information).
At the ECEC, our goal is 90% attendance for student. Every day counts!
When your child arrives on time and has good attendance, they develop skills to be successful in kindergarten and beyond:
- Math skills such as counting, identifying shapes, and noticing patterns.
- Literacy skills including reading books and recognizing letters & the sounds they make.
- Social skills such as being caring towards others and resolving conflicts with their friends.
- Motor skills involve both fine (fingers and hands) and large (arms and legs). Large and Fine motor development includes pedaling a bike and using scissors or writing their name.
We understand sometimes families experience hardship, and we want to work with you to create consistency for your child. ECEC will invite families to join a supportive team, including your Family Advocate and teacher, so we can work together to resolve attendance-related challenges.
