ECEC’s Home Based program connects families with information about child development and parenting while providing support to the family. Home Based participants receive weekly visits from their Parent Educator during which they work together on activities to promote learning within the comfort of the home. Home Based families also enjoy family meetings twice a month in the Home Based classroom located at ECEC. During this time participants enjoy interacting with other Home Based families while children experience being in a classroom environment.

The Home Based program also offers services to pregnant women. Prenatal services include a monthly visit with a Parent Educator. Your Parent Educator will share information such as: prenatal care & health, fetal development, preparation for labor & delivery, maternal mental health, postpartum care and infant safety.
