We're so excited to celebrate our rising Kindergarten students! All Kindergarten-bound students will be presented on stage Tuesday, May 17.

To help with parking, crowd control, and social distancing, classrooms will have a designated time to be on the stage:

  • 9:30 a.m. Cougar
  • 10:00 a.m. Butterfly
  • 10:30 a.m. Turtle
  • 11:00 a.m. Eagle
  • 11:30 p.m. Cottontail
  • 12:00 p.m. Quail

Questions? Check with your child's teacher, or call the ECEC at 480-362-2200.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The gates to the promotion ceremony area open at 9 a.m. Please do not bring balloons or any other item that might obstruct the view of others.

This is a smoke-free and drug-free campus. Following SRPMIC ordinance, no gang attire is permitted on campus. The SRPD School Resource Officer and Salt River Schools security team will be attending and enforcing this ordinance (when in doubt, don’t wear it).

Parking: The ECEC parking lot is designated for elders and people with disabilities. If you park in the nearby residential area, use the crosswalk on Center Street and walk on the sidewalk. Please take care and watch for vehicles.

Entrance/Exit: All guests will be directed to the ceremony area from the front office; please check in there.

General Seating: Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis; you may bring your chairs. This is an outdoor event, and is located at the back canopy on the playground in the grass. Let an ECEC staff member know if you need assistance.

Ceremony: The program includes a welcome and prayer, then the presentation of students. Please keep in mind that the children are young, and it may be their first time on a stage.

Promoting Class Seating: We ask that the first three rows of seats be available for rotation to the families of the class that is presenting. After each student is presented on stage, the class will walk back through the crowd to the classroom. Please remain in your seat until the students pass - then you may vacate the area. This allows the next classrooms’ guests the opportunity to find a seat close to the stage.

Students: Once the class has presented, all students will return to their classroom.

Sign Out: If you will take your child home after the ceremony, all students must be signed out in ProCare.
